This study is testing an investigational oral medication for participants who are not hospitalized but are at risk for severe disease. Participants will receive either the investigational oral medication or a placebo twice daily for 5 days. Additional procedures include vital signs, physical examination, laboratory assessments, and e-diary completion. Total participation will last approximately 6 months and would include 8 doctor’s visits throughout the study. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one or more in-person screening visits to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.
