LIVE GEOS (ALWAYS UP TO DATE) https://partners.subjectwell.com/publishers/geos_report/b0a1186d-1eb8-49c5-953b-672f44e5330b Age Range: 18+ Gender: Any Study Description: The purpose of this clinical study is to see if an investigational medication is a safe and effective treatment option for people with obstructive sleep apnea. This study is looking for people who cannot or do not want to use positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy. You may be asked to attend an in-person screening visit and complete an in-clinic sleep study to determine if you are eligible to enroll. If enrolled, you will receive either the medication being tested in this study or a placebo to be taken once daily before bed for approximately 6 months. Your total participation will last approximately 8 months and you will be asked to attend 7 in-person doctor’s visits. 3 of the 7 visits include a sleep study where you will be monitored overnight in a sleep clinic. Before you decide to join, the doctor’s office will give you more information and answer any questions you have about the study. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost. Participants who qualify may be compensated up to $1,240 (may vary per site) for time and travel. Qualifications: - No implanted device to treat sleep apnea - Do not have narcolepsy - Do not have restless leg syndrome - Have not had a heart attack, stroke, or mini stroke in the last 3 months - Do not have epilepsy - Not diagnosed with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder
