Do you turn to your smartphone or computer every day to read the news, or flick through Facebook or use Netflix? Or are you a lighter user who might check your emails every now and then, but prefer to read a printed newspaper and talk over the phone? We want to understand how you use the internet so we can build a complete picture of how people in the UK use, consume and interact with the internet today, and how our relationship with the world wide web changes over the coming months and years as more and more of our daily activities move online. To achieve this, we’re looking for a wide spectrum of internet users to be part of our 10,000 strong panel representing all types of people from across the UK. How do I take part? Taking part is easy: 1. answer a few questions to see if you’re eligible 2. download our app or software onto your smartphones, tablets and computers 3. fill in a short questionnaire giving us some information about you, your household and your internet activity. Once that’s done you simply carry on using your devices as usual. Our app and software run in the background, securely collecting information about the apps and websites you visit on your smartphones, tablets and computers. It does this without affecting the way your devices work. What’s in for me? By becoming a panel member, you have an opportunity to help shape the future of the online products, services and the websites we all use – making them better for all of us. As a thank you for taking part you'll receive £10 worth of rewards for successfully signing up and installing the app / software, and a further £5-£10 each month you remain on the panel (depending on the number of devices you have).
